SPRING SOCIETY OF SCAVENGERS
SATURDAY, MARCH 27 - SATURDAY, APRIL 3
Save the dates to join the Spring Society of Scavengers. The hunt will run from Saturday, March 27 - Saturday, April 3. Members of the P.S. 154 community will be able to buy tickets to participate in the neighborhood scavenger hunt. Each ticket buyer will be sent a list of clues, which will lead them to a business, which has posted a QR code in their window. When ticket buyers scan the QR code at each business they visit they will be led to a Google form where they will enter their name and scavenger hunt ticket number. Every time ticket buyers visit three businesses, they are entered into a raffle. If you have a local business and would like to participate, in the hopes of raising funds for us, and more foot traffic to your business, please contact Sara Murphy at saravmurphy@gmail.com.
COMMUNITY CORNER
Get ready for May’s Spring Gala event, which will consist of simultaneous virtual events for adult and children, as well as an online auction. We are looking for donations from our parent body for the auction. These can include parent or family getaways in vacation homes (dates at the owners’ discretion), donated lessons, tickets to events, wine or meal delivery, household and garden goods, arts and crafts. Please consider asking your employers, family or friends to donate auction items. If you have items, please contact Sara Murphy at saravmurphy@gmail.com.
