Your Contributions Matter! Please Donate π€
As the school year comes to a close, we reflect on the incredible programs that have enriched our children's education. Each year, the funds raised by the PS 154 school community are vital in supporting the music, science, chess, teacher training, recess coaches, and beloved community activities that make our school special.
However, budget cuts continue to challenge our mission. Your contributions directly impact these programs, ensuring our students receive a comprehensive and engaging education. None of this would be possible without your generosity.
We ask that you consider making a one-time donation as part of our year-end appeal. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a significant difference in the lives of our children and the quality of their education.
Thank you for your continued support.
πΌ School Garden Updates - Spring Into Our School Garden! π₯¬
Spring is in full swing, and our school garden is blossoming!
A group of parent volunteers has teamed up with Mr. Wong, our dedicated STEM teacher, to utilize the green space to provide the kids with a powerful hands-on learning experience.
In the past few weeks, several classes have been in the garden preparing the beds, weeding, sowing seeds, rescuing earthworms, transplanting seedlings, and building an irrigation system. Their enthusiasm has been contagious as each child got to get their hands dirty and help our garden grow. From understanding plant life cycles to exploring sustainable gardening practices, the children are gaining valuable insights that extend beyond the classroom.
We are incredibly grateful to Mr. Wong for his dedication to integrate the garden into the curriculum. By sparking each child's curiosity and showing them the importance of this green space, transformation is possible!
Help Our Garden Thrive Over the Summer! We need volunteers to help tend to the garden during the summer months. Enjoy the perks of harvesting fresh produce while your child plays in the yard. Don't miss this opportunity to contribute and enjoy the fruits of your labor!

π Book Market - Call for Graphic Novels & Chapter Books! π
We are accepting graphic novel and chapter book donations (for all ages). Please bring your gently used books and drop them into the blue bins labeled βBook Market Donation Binsβ on the stage in the MMR.
Do not donate other book types for the time being - other book genres will be donated externally immediately as we do not have capacity to take them.
Feel free to send back any graphic novels or chapter books previously sourced from the Book Market as well (if your child is ready to part with them!).
