Dear P.S. 154 Families,
Thank you so much for joining us for our enrichment shares! It was wonderful getting to see all the work students have accomplished over this term in Music and Media. Term 2 began on Monday, 12/9 and so most grades will begin their new enrichment classes this week.
These enrichment courses will run for approximately 13 weeks, from December 9 - March 14. See the PTA message for a description of the programs.
Our next school spirit day is Pajama Day on December 20th. Be sure to send your child to school in their comfiest PJs.
Winter Market - Thank you!
Our Winter Market raised $6K this weekend. We want to extend our gratitude to everyone who made this event a success. To the school community, local vendors, JCC, Paper Playground, Chez Chrystelle, our corporate sponsors Brooklyn Solar Works and South Slope Pediatrics, the Whiting family, and all the families who purchased family sponsorships and tickets—thank you for your generosity and support.
A special shoutout to Grace Ciaccia for chairing the event, Meibis Lopez for the decor and to Nicole Nelson and Jeannine Fletcher for their time and creativity in crafting the unique and beautiful wintry mobiles with the kids.
To everyone who attended, and especially our incredible volunteers who made the magic happen—this event would not have been possible without you. Finally, thank you to the entire PTA for organizing and bringing us together to celebrate what makes our community so special!
