Readathon
Cozy up with a good book - we are kicking off 2024 with our annual Read-A-Thon! Our Read-A-Thon puts the FUN in fundraising - students will work with their teachers to set reading goals, track progress, and celebrate their accomplishments. We have some fun events planned to make the Read-A-Thon extra-special, starting with a kick-off week of classroom read-ins!
This year’s Read-A-Thon excitement will include class prizes (hot chocolate party, anyone???) for participation, as well as grade-level lotteries for goal-meeters, and a special prize for the top-earning class.
We will be using Rally-up again this year to log books and fundraising totals.
A few key points:
Families can register their students for the Read-A-Thon using the link below to create their personal fundraising pages, which can be shared with family and friends.
ALL CLASSES WITH 90% OF THE CLASS REGISTERED BY JANUARY 17 WILL EARN AN IN-SCHOOL HOT-CHOCOLATE PARTY!
Students will set set their goals in class, and will receive an individual goal and tally sheet from their teachers. If your child loses their goal/tally sheet, the PDF is below.
Families should update their child’s reading progress on a daily or weekly basis for the duration of the Read-A-Thon.
