Monday, February 26 Spring club catalog released
Friday, March 1 Spring session registration for extended day and clubs opens at 11am (changed from 10 am)
Friday, March 8 Spring session registration for extended day and clubs closes at 10pm
Thursday, March 28 Last day of winter session extended day and clubs
Tuesday, April 2 Spring session extended day begins. All change requests must be made through Google Form and each change incurs $25 change fee
EXTENDED DAY REGISTRATION & Change policy
Beginning in the 2023-2024 school year, you must re-register your child for extended day for each session (fall, winter, and spring.) After registration closes, your child’s extended day registration for that session carries over from month-to-month for the session. Spring 2024 extended day runs from Tuesday, April 2 through Thursday, June 21 unless you request a change. Extended Day services are billed monthly. If you need to increase, decrease, or change the days your child joins us for Extended Day, you may do so at the beginning of any month as long as there is space available to accommodate your needs. For the spring 2024 session, all extended day change requests received after March 16 will incur a $25 change fee PER REQUEST and must be made via the PS 154 After School Extended Day Change Form. Extended Day change requests may take up to 2 weeks to process and do not take effect until you have received a confirmation email from the PS 154 Staff. You must re-register your child for Extended Day for each session.
CLUB DROP POLICY FOR spring 2024
Registration for the Spring 2024 club session will run from 3/1/24 through 3/8/2024 via your Amilia SmartRec account. During this open registration period, you may change your child’s schedule via the app for no fee. Beginning 3/9/2024 you may request to drop clubs using the PS 154 After School Club Drop Form. Forms received after registration closes will incur a change fee according to the following schedule:
25% of the club tuition will be forfeited for drop requests received between 3/9/2024 - 3/16/2024.
50% of the club tuition will be forfeited for drop requests received between 3/17/2024 - 3/23/2024
75% of the club tuition will be forfeited for drop requests received 3/24/2024 - 4/1/2024.
100% of the club tuition will be forfeited for drop requests 4/1/24 and later.
No changes are complete until you receive a confirmation email from the PS 154 After School Staff. Thank you for your patience as we process requests in the order they are received.
Introducing amilia!
Amilia is our new registration, billing, and database software that is replacing JackRabbit. Amilia will give families more control over their After School enrollment and better bill pay options with the ability to cancel enrollments, see our built-in extended day discounts, and set up installment payment plans. It will also help our staff be more flexible, responsive, and organized. We’re very excited for this transition.
But, as with every transition, it will take some time for us all to get used to the change. In order to reduce the feeding-frenzy feeling of after school registration and to ensure that our staff has maximum availability to help families with questions, we will do the fall session registration in phases.

Friday, December 8th at 10am - Friday, December 15th at 10pm: Enrichment club and extended day registration open for everyone.
You will be able to add clubs and extended day to your cart and then pay for the clubs in full or via installment plans when you check out. Until the full registration period closes on December 15th. There are also built-in, automated waitlists for all clubs, so if a spot comes up for your child, you can go into your account and make changes during this week.
Registration will remain open until 10pm on Friday, December 15th. Until then, you can log on to your account via the app to add clubs or extended day to your child’s schedule with no penalty or fee. To request drops during the open enrollment period, please use our drop forms.

Once the registration period closes, all change requests must be made via our After School Google forms. Each change made to your child’s schedule after registration closes will incur a $25 change fee, and there will be no refunds.
To check your balance and child's schedule please follow these steps:
1. Log in to your personal account.
2. Go to the "Home" tab.
3. Check the "My calendar" section, which displays:
- Closed days (pink)
- Your scheduled activity occurrences (blue)
- Other events you and other account members are registered to (purple)
- Up to 5 upcoming events featured on the left side
To view your billing information:
1. Go to the "Billing" tab.
2. Use the drop-down menu to choose the organization.
3. View your past transactions, such as invoices, payments, credits, and refunds for all your account members.
4. Click "View" to see details on a specific transaction.
5. Click on "Account history" to download an excel report of your transactions within the given time frame.

AFTER SCHOOL
After School is a program that is organized by the PS 154 PTA to take care of your child from the conclusion of their school day until as late as 6:00 pm. We provide a safe and nurturing environment where students are engaged in activities designed to encourage their social, emotional, cognitive and artistic development. The physical and emotional well being of each child is, and will always be our program’s top priority. The program is staffed by licensed teachers, assistant teachers and experienced enrichment instructors. Click below to get specific info about each program. Children may mix & match any combination of programs.
Daily supervised care for your child, from the end of school until as late as 6:00 pm.
Specialized scheduled classes in sports, arts, electronics, S.T.E.M., chess and more.
